GripSport Bike Racks & OCD Covers
Because GripSport racks mount the bikes off centre, specific measurements are required for designing and making your cover.

Select your colour
The covers are made from a PVC coated polyester fabric which has proven to be extremely rub resistant and durable. Being polyester, the material is resistant and unaffected by UV light. Regarding the fabric options, the sage colour is subject to fading, the grey and silver colours are solution dyed, which means less risk of fading.
Loading Your Bikes (Important)
OCD covers have two external handle bar pockets which must align with the bike's handle bars. We request you load the bikes to match the STANDARD LOADING routine. NON STANDARD loading can be accommodated but these covers must be custom made.
Contact us if you have any special requirements or a three channel bike racks carrying two bikes.
Does your handlebar hit the back of your vehicle?
Unless you can adjust the rack or change the support arms to create more space between the vehicle and handlebar, the only option is to rotate your handlebar ninety degrees.
If you do this, your bike cover needs a special pocket to accommodate the rotated handlebar.

We have three rules:
-Handle bars must not touch or damage the vehicle
-The bikes must be securely and safely attached to the rack
-The handle bars should stay in the normal riding position

In many cases there is no charge, however we do offer a comprehensive onsite service designed to take the grief away and give you a robust outcome.
A full engineering service is available to resolve tow bar issues, mounting racks, and a special skill in retro fitting new racks (especially lift racks) to existing wall mounts

Tell us about your Bike Carriers
Please tell us which bike(s) have got carriers on the back and their respective size(s).
In most case the small to medium carriers will fit in the cover. Bike(s) with large carriers may need a longer cover or a gusset to be added to accommodate the protruding carrier(s).
Add-ons to Make Your Vehicle Road Legal
On some vehicles the bike cover will obscure the tail lights and possibly the number plate. It is recommended you load your bikes onto the rack and step back 6-8m and check the visibility.
A fully integrated lighting system with tail lights and an illuminated number plate pocket is available. These components can be bought as a package or individually as needed. The LED lights multi voltage and are powered via a standard 7 pin trailer plug fitting.
